Forty women from Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar completed our three-month tailoring course this month. The course covered measuring, cutting and stitching blouses, school uniforms and children’s clothes.
At the graduation ceremony, each woman received a certificate, and those who needed one received a sewing machine to start working from home.
Several graduates have already taken orders from neighbours and local schools. Two have teamed up to open a small tailoring shop together.
