Sixteen teams from villages around Nashik took part in our inter-village football tournament. Over two days, more than 1,000 people came to watch.
Matches were played in a friendly spirit, with a fair play award for the most sporting team. The final went to penalties, and the winning team lifted the Hope Cup in front of their whole village.
Promising players have been invited to our weekly coaching sessions.
