Rising fertiliser prices squeeze small farmers every season. Our organic farming workshop in Amravati showed 110 farmers how to make natural alternatives from what they already have.
Experienced farmers demonstrated preparing compost, jeevamrut and neem-based pest repellents, and talked about mixed cropping to protect against crop failure.
Twenty farmers have volunteered to try the methods on part of their land, and we will share their results at the next workshop.
